Heading for home

After many adventures around Monterey and the bay area, Jen and I decided to change our plans of heading north into Oregon and all its clouds, rain and dreariness. Instead we decided to head back to Camarillo and enjoy a few more days of southern California warmth, before setting off for the snow. Special thanks to the Trogon’s for offering us there condo! Tomorrow we plan to head towards Nevada. Over the following days we’ll pass through Utah, the Colorado rockies and enjoy some early spring on the Kansas prairies, where we hope to see dancing prairie chickens! We’ll be home around March 12th.

Our friend Susan and I at Bodega Bay north of San Fransisco. This is the site where the Alfred Hitchcock film “The Birds” was filmed. It did in fact turn out to be a great birding spot!
